Our goal was to get our Tarpon Springs, Florida backyard certified as a backyard habitat by the National Wildlife Federation - which we did!  Little did we know how truly beautiful it would be and the photo ops that would follow.  From this terraced back yard to crawling around on my belly in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, I love to photograph flowers! (To Enlarge Image -click on magnifying glass in lower right corner of image - while Image is enlarged, click arrow for Slide Show of page with captions)

It is not as hard as you think!  There are books available as a starting point and internet research for details on your particular zone.  This is truly a labor of love with unimaginable results!
